Kharkov – Why You Should Visit This City in Ukraine

Kharkov Ukraine

Kharkov main station

Kharkov is the second biggest city in the country of Ukraine, as it is home to over 1.5 million people. It is in the northeastern part of Ukraine. It is only 40 km away from the border of Russia. It is a very Russian kind of town, and everything in town is written in the Cyrillic alphabet.

Visitors to Kharkov can easily get around town on the city’s metro service. The cost is the same no matter the distance of the journey, roughly 20 cents or 15 eurocents. You can use the metro system to get around Kharkov to view the sights it has to offer. I found it quite easy to get around town on the metro on my trips to Kharkov, Ukraine.

The Kharkov Zoo is an amazing place that is a definite must-see for visitors to the city. It is the largest and most delightful zoo in Ukraine. Kharkov Zoo is located in the city center in Shevchenko Park. It is extremely large, occupying over 22 hectares. I found the highlight to be the amazing collection of polar bears the zoo has on display. They all seem to have unique personalities and are very entertaining.

There is a better form of wildlife to be found in town than that which is present at the zoo. I am referring to the women of Kharkov Ukraine. The women of the town are absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for Ukrainian women for marriage, then a trip to this city will be full of delights. The women are beautiful, intelligent, humorous, easy-going and low maintenance. These attributes make them very appealing to the Western man. A Western man’s attitudes and affluence, in comparison to Ukrainian men, make them very appealing to Ukrainian women.

When visiting Kharkov Ukraine to look for Ukrainian women for marriage, I highly recommend staying at the Aurora Hotel. This 4-star modern facility offers free Wi-Fi and a delicious restaurant. It is conveniently located right in the city center. The staff is very friendly, and I found them very willing to do whatever I asked for with a smile on their faces.
